Bio
A member of Sage's inuagural team in 2010, Matt Flaherty is a returning letterwinner. He etched his name into the record book after connecting on the very first goal in program history in Sage's first win as they defeated Wells College, 3-2 in 2010.
He finished the 2010 season with 1 goal and 1 assist for 3 points in 15 games played. Last year, he played in 20 games and was part of the Gators' defense that record 6 shutouts.
He is a graduate of Comsewogue High School, where he was an all-league honoree as a senior. He was part of the 2008 and 2009 New York State Championship Team as a junior and senior.
He is majoring in physical education at Sage and is the son of William and Michelle Flaherty.
